Our Daily Bread For May 31, 2025.

Hear God’s Beloved Son And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” Luke 9:35 In the accounts of what happened on the Mount of Transfiguration found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, we see how our Lord Jesus brought His disciples, Peter, James, and John, up a high mountain to pray. Scripture tells us that “as he was praying, the appearance of his face was transformed, and his clothes became dazzling white” (Luke 9:29 NLT). Then two of the most illustrious figures in the Jewish faith, Moses and Elijah, appeared and began talking with Jesus. Imagine the disciples’ shock and awe when they saw these two great men—one representing the law and the other representing the prophets—appearing with Jesus in glory! Peter, feeling he had to say something but not knowing what to say, blurted, “Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”. Now, Peter didn’t realize that by saying this, he was putting Jesus on the same level as Moses and Elijah, and the Father had to correct Peter. While Peter was still [...]

Rightly Divide the Word Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 When our Lord stood in the synagogue in Nazareth and read from the book of Isaiah, He proclaimed the acceptable year of the Lord and stopped reading just before the words, “and the day of vengeance of our God.” In doing so He showed us how to rightly divide the Word of God as today’s scripture instructs us to do. He made it precisely clear that we are in the age of GRACE. When you learn to rightly divide God’s Word, I believe that you will begin to see His grace, His love, and His security flood every area of your life. Let me share with you a precious testimony of restoration that illustrates this. Valerie, a lady from Illinois, shares: I became a believer almost twenty years ago and my life changed tremendously. Despite being saved, I felt that something was still wrong because I was repeatedly diagnosed with cancer—four times in all. After my last relapse of cancer, I watched Pastor Joseph Prince on television and ordered his [...]

Partake of the Tree of Life Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Luke 24:30 In Luke 24:30–31, the resurrected Christ partook of the holy Communion with the two disciples at the village of Emmaus. What a divine honor the Lord Jesus has put on the breaking of bread, on this wonderful sacrament He has given to the church. This is why in my church, we receive the Communion every week. That’s what the early church did as well. The book of Acts tells us that the disciples “came together to break bread” on “the first day of the week” (Acts 20:7). Shouldn’t we emphasize what our Lord Jesus made central? We know that God made Adam and Eve complete except for one thing: their spiritual eyes were not opened. God wanted their spiritual eyes to be opened by the Tree of Life, but instead they partook of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and their eyes were opened to see their nakedness. Their eyes were opened to see their failures and shortcomings, their lack and their inadequacies, their [...]

The Key to Faith Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 NASB1995 As humans, not only do we have a propensity to zoom in on every little flaw in our physical and emotional makeup, but we also have a tendency to know, remember, and replay in our minds the sins, failings, and mistakes we have made. We condemn ourselves for even our smallest flaws instead of focusing on how God really sees us—perfect in Christ. This is why it takes faith to believe that God sees you righteous. It takes faith to believe that He does not see you in your sins, that He does not observe sin or iniquity in you. It takes faith to believe that He means what He says when He says, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Heb. 8:12). It takes faith to believe that God will not remember your failings and mistakes! But Pastor Prince, my sins are [...]

*Today's Declarations. *As it is written in Revelation 21:4 (KJV), "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain: for the former things are passed away."* Praise the Lord, O ye people, for His mercies endure forever! With my heartfelt prayer this morning, I decree into your life and destiny that every secret tears is wiped away. The source of those tears is dried up, for the Bible says, "The Egyptian you see today, you will see them no more." Your season of laughter and rejoicing has come, and nothing will stop you in Jesus' Mighty Name! _*Amen .*_ Good morning! Have a Marvelous week. *Remain Blessed,*

Get Ready to Play Offense He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 Whatever team sports you follow, you know that defense is vital. A good defensive strategy keeps you in contention, but defense alone doesn’t win championships. The prayer of protection in Psalm 91 has many defensive elements, such as dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, and taking the Lord as our refuge and fortress. We can also see how we are covered under His wings and protected by an angelic army. Knowing that we’ve got our defensive game covered, are you ready to play some offense? Certainly, there are times and seasons when the best thing to do is to take cover and to allow ourselves to be sheltered. The Lord is our safe house, our hiding place, and our impenetrable fortress, and I love that we get to take refuge in Him. But the prayer of protection also declares this in verse 13: “You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” That’s taking an offensive position. That’s [...]

Our Daily Bread For May 23, 2025.

Experience His Presence He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1–2 My friend, today you can experience God’s presence in your life. Say to yourself, “The Lord is with me and I have His favor, blessings, and protection.” Sense His shadow covering you. His shadow is a picture of nearness. You are not trying to get into the secret place; you are already there in Christ. In Christ, you can’t get any closer to God. In the Old Testament, God showed Moses, the great patriarch, only His back parts (Ex. 33:22–23). That’s the old covenant—because of man’s failure, God was always departing and the children of Israel only saw His back. The picture of the new covenant is God sending His only Son, Jesus Christ. It is the picture of the father running toward the prodigal son in spite of his failures. Under the new covenant, we are seated with our heavenly Father in Christ and we see the smile on His face! That is how close [...]

Your head repels every evil arrow and bullet. Every opposition before you shall be trampled upon by you today and forever. Every evil trap set to capture you shall instead capture the setters.* *The glory ahead of you that makes others plan to bring you down shall be yours without harm. You shall possess it in Jesus' Mighty Name. AMEN .* *Good morning! Have a Victorious Tuesday!* *Remain Blessed,*
