Dedication of Catholic Church of Ascension, Ondo town, Ondo State, Nigeria


On Friday, September 16, 2016 brethren and other wellwishers came together for the dedication of Catholic Church of Ascension, Ondo town in Ondo State. The Cathedral Church a masterpiece solely built by Bayo Fatusin Foundation was donated to the Catholic Diocese of Ondo State for the propagation of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

Presentation of Scholarship to Students and Food Items to widows and elders


Founder and financier of Bayo Fatusin Foundation, Mr Bayo Fatusin doled out multimillion Naira food items for the elders and widows in and around Ondo town. Hundreds of students from various school in Ondo environs were also beneficiaries of the Bayo Fatusin Foundation scholarship programme. The event was held at the Bayo Fatusin Foundation office in Sabo Ondo, State on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Some of the attendees of this year event gave testimony of how the Bayo Fatusin Foundation has affected their lives and moving them above poverty line through the foundation’s regular empowerment programme which they have been beneficiaries.
The event was climaxed by distribution of hundreds of bags of rice, groundnut oil, beverages and other food items including cash to all the attendees who left the occasion in joyous mood.

The Bayo Fatusin Foundation (BFF) held her last quarter of the year, Youth and Old people empowerment programme on Saturday, December 6 at the Foundation’s secretariat in Ondo Kingdom of  Ondo State, South ‎West Nigeria.
The event also had the BFF presentation of scholarships to 37 students of secondary schools  across the State.
Top government functionaries led by the Ondo State deputy governor, Alhaji Alli Olanusi‎ was at the event as the the chairman of the occassion. Bishop Jude Arogundade, the Archbishop of Ondo Catholic Church represent the body of Christ at the event among other dignitaries.
In his speech, Alhaji Alli Olanusi, the Ondo State deputy governor who started with a thanksgiving song commended the effort of ‎ the Founder of the foundation, Mr Bayo Fatusin for always at hand to support the effort of the State government because the government cannot do everything but with the effort of individuals like Fatusin whose second name is charity, the grass root will not be neglected. According to him, “To the best of my knowledge Fatusin is not doing this for political reasons or for any direct benefit but for his love for the less previledge and the downtrodden in the society.”
Olanusi implore beneficiary of the programme to use it judiciously so that the Founder will be encourage to do more for others. ” Fatusin is not the richest man in Ondo State but he’s doing this because God laid it in his mind and for the love of his people”.
Olanusi promised to always  be present in all the programme of the Foundation if invited because he love what the BFF is doing.
Bishop Jude Arogundade, the ArchBishop of Ondo Diocese Catholic Church in his short speech said he love what BFF is doing because it is one the reasons God created us and is what God command us to do. God said we should love our neighbour . BFF is doing all this because the Founder love his neighbour and as a convenant between him and God. The Bishop said the Church is also doing the same thing BFF is doing in their own capacity as a church.
Ondo State Commissioner of women Affairs, who was represented at the event by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Dr (Mrs) Esofure in her own speech said what the BFF is doing is worth commendation because what they are doing is in support of the State government and the women affairs ministry. ” we love what the foundation is doing because is what the State government is als doing and what my ministry is doing’. She said for people like the convener of this laudable programme Ondo State will be a better place.
Founder of the Bayo Fatusin Foundation, Mr Bayo Fatusin in his speech took time to explain the position of the foundation in doing what they are doing. ” We are not doing all this for political reason or for any instant benefit but as a covenant with God” and love for our people” he said. Is just a way of supporting the youth so they can have a brighter‎ future. Our giving to the old people is also a way of fulfilling promise with God to take care of the old.
Fatusin said we cannot wait for government to do everything, we have to cushion the effort of the government by supporting in our own little way. I am not the richest man in Ondo State but because I have the grace to give that is why I am doing this.
He said the Foundation will continue to support the students. ” We want Ondo State to produce the best Student in the Country. We have plan to have a resource center in Akure, the Ondo State capital and by extension all the local government in the State so every less privileged in the state can benefit from the BFF programme. Our goal is to empower as many people as possible so our people can be independent.

Beneficiaries of the BFF largesse gave testimony, appreciate and pray for the founder of the foundation for his kind act.

BFF visit to the Missionary of Charity Home, Ketu Lagos. August 2014



BFF paid a visit to The Missionary of Charity Home in Ketu Lagos to present cash, loads of food item‎s and sanitary wares to the children, the missionaries and the workers at the home. Founder of the Foundation, Mr Bayo Fatusin also took some time to have fun with the children.

BFF Visit to Old peoples home Yaba Lagos. August 2014


As part of their commitment to ensure that the less privileged are not forgotten in our society, the Bayo Fatusin Foundation makes periodic  visit  to the Old People Home, in Yaba Lagos.

One of such visits was on the 2nd of August 2014 to present the monthly salary to the old men and women in the home.

FF South West Peace Advocacy Visit April 3-10 2014




Mr Bayo Fatusin the Founder of Bayo Fatusin foundation recently paid a peace advocacy visit to the South Western  States in Nigeria. The tour which include courtesy visit to the first class traditional rulers, state governors and some religion leaders.

BFF Empowerment Program April 2014



Bayo Fatusin Foundation empowerment programme for the less privilege was held in April 2014 at the Foundation’s secretariat in Ondo town. The governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, his Deputy Alhaji Alli Olanusi and former governor of Abia State Chief Orji Kalu, was among the top dignitaries that attended the event where millions of naira was doled out to good numbers of beneficiaries to start up businesses and for some other needs.

BFF Women Empowerment and Borehole Commissioning in Ilaje Lagos State




The Bayo Fatusin foundation on 15 March 2013 embarked on the empowerment Of 100 women, commissioning of boreholes, bathroom and toilet facilities by the Foundation At Ilaje -Bariga , Lagos State.

Women Empowerment Scheme 31st of July 1st of August, 2012


The maiden programme of Women Empowerment Scheme came up on the 31st of July and 1st of August, 2012 at the foundation’s headquarters in Ondo, Ondo State, Nigeria, and it was well attended by the Crème-de-la-Crème in the society. The programme was chaired by the Foundation’s Chairman Board of Trustees, High Chief Bayo Akinola while the Special guest of Honour was the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko who was represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. Tayo Akinjomo.

Other dignitaries that graced the occasion were Chief Aluko, Hon. (Mrs.) Mobolaji Suara, the SSA to the Governor on Direct Labour, Rev. Fr. Lucas, Engr. Deji Doherty, Dr. Dunni Olanrewaju, Chief Mrs Emily Oladuti, the Otun Iyaloja of Ondo Kingdom among others.

Classrooms and Labs. Dominican College Mafoluku Lagos.


The Bayo Fatusin Foundation Organization built and donated 3 classroom and a block of  3 science laboratories, the the Dominican College Mafuloku In Lagos State.
The College was opened in September, 2006.
The school was founded by Rev. Stephen Lucas OP (Dominican)
The Principal is Rev. Sr. Margaret Hussain.The new Director of the school is Rev. Fr. Vincent Ubili, OP (Dominican).

Assistance to the less privileged St. Dominic Catholic Church Yaba.


BFF assists widows and the less privilaged at St. Dominics Catholic Church Yaba, Lagos. They donate cash gifts and food stuff as part of their social empowerment drive.

They clean the church premises every day and ensuring that the public utilities are clean and safe.
Mr. Bayo Fatusin is one of  their biggest supporters.

He has introduced self employment programs to support them in various ways.
