In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
God of heaven and the universe, I thank You for the gift of my life and for today, being the 321st day in the eleventh Month of the year 2019. Lord Jesus Christ, by Your atoning death on the cross You have redeemed the world. As this new week begins, I beg You to fill me with joyful hope, courage, and boldness to witness the truth of Your love for sinners and Your victory over the powers of sin, Satan, and death. I turn to You today with faith, knowing that You are the Lord of my life and the initiator of history. You are the One who knows all things even before they exist. Aware of my weaknesses and failures, I set my hopes in You Lord. I know You always fulfill Your promises. Therefore, as I contemplate Your love (that becomes fidelity) I, too, desire to repay You with my fidelity. Help me to always listen to You, and, in listening, may I discover Your will for me today and always. Grant me the grace I need to set my heart on what is eternal and Everlasting. Give me the grace to know and hear Your voice. Help me to choose You above all things and to always desire to know You more clearly. May I follow You now and always in my life and may I never be deceived by the many false prophets of our day and age. Amen.
