Reflection: Spiritual Solitude is Important…
We always have time for every form of mundane activity (s) but less time for solitude in prayer to be with God. As decision making beings, we need direction and discernment at all times. This is what we get for free when we find time to be with God. Again, for the sake of our own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, we sometimes need to get out of our normal routine, our daily commitments to everything and seek the Lord in Prayer.
When we withdraw from worldly concerns and concentrate our mind on God from time to time, we enter into intimate communion with Him. In Prayer we make a deliberate and intentional choice to be aware of God’s presence and to be grateful for the opportunity to know God more intimately.
Christ showed us the importance of solitude, the need for constant prayer before any major decision. Cut off from our source of Power, we run into confusion, we make fundamental mistakes too and generally our output will certainly be poor. All from God, in God and back to God🙏🏼
Lord save our Nation from sinking!
